Therapy for Individuals & Couples
Therapy offers beautiful possibilities for you and the people in your life. If you are seeking help, you may be feeling anxious, depressed, angered, helpless, misunderstood, or simply stuck in this moment of life. With therapy, you can change your life; get unstuck, embrace joy, improve your relationships, and find peace.
Areas of emotional distress for all people include grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, debilitating stress, and relationship conflict. It is in these areas, I consider myself to be most helpful to you. Also, I enjoy walking beside individuals through the stress that comes with life's big transitions. Life's big events that cause distress and abrupt change in life include finances, marriage, divorce, intimacy, children, chronic diagnosis, and loss.

Adult Individuals who feel stuck, are struggling to make decisions, experiencing major life-event transitions.
Couples with relationship issues such as communication, conflict, commitment, infidelity, intimacy, emotional connection, divorce, and remarriage
Groups - Facilitate individuals in personal growth using books, programs, and the enneagram.
**I do not work with children, but am happy to work with parents struggling with parenting issues.
Approaches/methods I use in sessions:
Grief Therapy - working to live with and through grief.
I use the Grief Recovery Method program with individuals and groups.
Emotion-focused Therapies - identify, express, and regulate your emotions using foundations of EFT.
Expressive Arts Therapies - discover and express emotions that otherwise are blocked and even unknown to you through creativity.
Shadow/Inner parts work - access parts of yourself that have been blocked by trauma or defense mechanisms using the IFS model.
Enneagram - A personality tool to determine the lens in which you view the world and the motivation behind your behavioral patterns.
Coaching - Help and guidance with life transitions, decision-making, and accountability.

Groups - I host 2 types of groups - Daring Way and Grief Recovery. Daring Greatly™ and Rising Strong™ curriculums (based on Brené Brown's research on shame and vulnerability). multi-week Grief Recovery Method group to support the recovery from pain associated with a variety of losses.
